JLPT CONTENTS OF TEST AND
CRITERIA OF CERTIFICATION
Level 1 : 2000 kanji and 10000 vocabularies. After studying Japanese for around 900 hours.
Level 2 : 1000 kanji and 6000 vocabularies. After studying Japanese for around 600 hours.
Level 3 : 300 kanji and 1500 vocabularies. After studying Japanese for around 300 hours.
Level 4 : 100 kanji and 800 vocabularies. After studying Japanese for around 150 hours.
